Our first stop

Our first stop was shelton WA, we stayed with Byron & Lindsay. They were awesome hosts and showed us a great time. Our kids had a blast playing together. We went to Seattle via the ferry, it was our first ferry ride and we loved it. While in seattle we ate at ivars and had some of the best clam chowder ever.. they have it in costco so you can get a sense of what you are missing out on.... We got to meet ashley my new friend, she brought her neices to play. Then we went to the curiousity shop, the kids are still talking about all the crazy things they saw in the store. Then we went to pikes place, I couldn't handle the smell of the fish, but I loved all the stuff for sale. While in Seattle we went to the coolest park, thanks ashley, it was a long winding road down to the beach, ayden said we were in the jungle. Then the park was great shooter and elaina loved the fish slide. It had thise big walkway over some train tracks to the beach, where elaina and shooter and all the other kids played on a giant log turned teeter totter.

The next day we went to the beach at Ocean Shores, it wasn't very warm but we had a blast anyway. We flew lindsay and byron's kites which were amazing (pirate ship, dragon and I think a butterfly) then the kids played in the water. We walked the beach and found a few shells. When it started raining we ran off the beach and to a camp where we roasted hot dogs. Ayden really wanted to roast his own dog and kept bringing me these tiny sticks, so funny. We were sad to leave shelton it was so pretty and we were having so much fun with our firends, but it was a rushed trip!
